Advanced Propulsion Physics Paper

This is a direct link to my Advanced Propulsion Document which also details Singularity, as I lectured about on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory on Tuesday night, September 20, 2005.

I really enjoyed your show on Coast to Coast. It was a good breakaway from the 100 mile \ 15 hours of bumper-to-bumper traffic during the fleeing from the laughable Hurricane Rita.

Anyway, you make some really good points, however, as a physicist myself I must make a correction on some fundamental flaws in your understanding of Einstein, specifically your understanding of mass and momentum.

Einstein's SR theory is easily misunderstood. Early proponents of this theory defined a so-called "relativistic mass" confining events into the frame of an inertial observer. It is really only to simplify the accompanying mathematics. Feynman and Hawking, for example use the word "mass" in their discussions of relativity and inertia, however this is science-slang per se, a shorthand verbage for "relativistic mass;" which in the scientific community the assumption is understood. SR implies the "relativistic mass" of a body increases as its velocity increases, not invariant mass! The statement you made that "the faster mass travels, etc..." technically incorrect from a theoretical standpoint since the fundamental postulate of SR has bounds in which the properties of an object are independent of any inertial frame, i.e., invariant.

In your paper, you also call it "Einstein's Increase Mass Law" however, 1)It is not a "law"
2) Einstein never even proposed "relativistic mass" in his theory, his momentum calculations were based on invariance properties

An excerpt from one of my favorite relativity textbooks (Spacetime Physics, by Taylor and Wheeler) states the following:

"Ouch! The concept of `relativistic mass' is subject to misunderstanding. That's why we don't use it. First, it applies the name mass--belonging to the magnitude of a four-vector--to a very different concept, the time component of a four-vector. Second, it makes increase of energy of an object with velocity or momentum appear to be connected with some change in internal structure of the object. In reality, the increase of energy with velocity originates not in the object but in the geometric properties of space-time itself."

Please clarify in your paper.

p.s. I am a HUGE fan. Keep up the search for truth and fighting the good fight.

You are kicking ass David.

Been following your work for a while--fantastic.

If the Space Shuttle camera's are using 3CCD cameras with infrared and near ultra-violet technology, how do we get a hold of such a camera?

There are a bunch of people who do not care about the cost of such a camera. They want to get there hands on one. I do not think I am alone on this.

What brand/kind of camera did that millionaire take aboard? I know he was apparently using infrared, but how do we get our hands on one?

I have done very basic research on this and have just found a, "lux," rating on video cameras--the kind you buy at the mainstream electronic stores. These cameras come with the typical NightShot. I do not think this is what is being used to tape these things.
